Sam Edens joined NAI as an intern in January 2024 after working as an analyst for Berkeley Capital Advisors and Carolina Capital Real Estate Partners. Sam works closely with the

Carolina Shopping Center Strategists team, consisting of Patrick Palmer, CCIM, and Bobby Balboni, CCIM. Their focus is on retail and general commercial properties in the Midlands.

Sam’s experience and expertise contributes to the team’s commitment to excellence in navigating the intricacies of the retail and commercial real estate landscape.

Background & Experience

Sam attended Wofford College before transferring to University of South Carolina where he is set to graduate in May 2024. Majoring in Retail Management, Sam’s academic pursuits

align seamlessly with his professional endeavors. Additionally, he is a dedicated member of the Future Finance Associates, where he furthers his education on the latest market trends and industry news. Beyond the classroom, Sam enjoys outdoor activities, particularly hunting, and SEC football.
