Teacher, Coach, & Development

Performed several duties through six years of service. Adapted to new roles yearly with seamless transition and eagerness to accept new challenges.

  • Tasked with teaching courses in World History, Modern European History, Current Events, Visual & Graphic Design, and Marketing over six academic years.
  • Served as the Offensive Coordinator for the Christian Brothers High School varsity football team through six seasons.

Climbed an extremely competitive coaching ladder over a five-year period while performing a large spectrum of duties related to coaching, recruitment, and administration.

  • Arrived in Memphis prior to the beginning of the 2011 season under 2nd year head coach Larry Porter. After staff was relieved of duties following the 2011 season, was one of a few members of the support staff retained by new head coach Justin Fuente.
  • Elevated from Quality Control to Graduate Assistant following the spring of 2012.
  • As a support staff member, oversaw coaching scout team, developing weekly scouting reports, opponent film & scheme breakdown, self-scouting & assessment, and weekly opponent preparation.
  • Worked with three of the five offensive position groups through time as a graduate assistant.
  • Elevated to coach Wide Receiver assistant prior to the start of the 2013 season.
  • As an assistant, was responsible for recruiting student athletes in Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and California.
  • Under Justin Fuente’s guidance, helped the Memphis program evolve from a bottom tier FBS team to the 2014 American Conference Champions & 2014 Miami Bowl Champions.
  • Under my tutelage, produced four All-Conference selections over a two-year period. Three of which, started their careers as non-scholarship athletes.
  • Served as an ambassador to the Highland-Hundred & First Team booster organizations.
  • Recognized as a rising star in coaching by the FootballScoop and 247Sports for recruitment efforts leading up to the 2014 season.

Begin coaching career at one of the premier prep schools in the country. Performed a myriad of duties while cutting teeth in the industry. Developed relationships with collegiate coaches that would eventually lead to a professional jump to the collegiate coaching after just one year.

  • In one season of service, enjoyed a successful record resulting in only one loss and a number two National Prep ranking following the season.
  • Taught courses in Public Speaking, History, and Marketing through one academic year.
  • In addition to responsibilities as an assistant coach, was also responsible for Special Teams and Pass Game Coordination.
  • Served as Recruiting Coordinator of student-athletes and their communication with collegiate coaches.
  • Responsible for recruitment of new students in the southeast region to Milford’s boarding student population.
