Scope of Experience

As Senior Property and Fund Accountant, Ms. Guyett is responsible for the accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of both NAI/Merin Hunter Codman and MHCommercial Fund assets. Ms. Guyett plays an integral part in the implementation of core systems and processes for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information, as well as investor onboarding, communication, financial distributions, and investor portal management. Her responsibilities include achieving accounting operational objectives by contributing accounting information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, fund managerial duties, preparing and completing action plans, forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, monitoring revenue and expenses, and establishing internal controls. 

Background & Experience

Ms. Guyett joined NAI/Merin Hunter Codman in May 2023, bringing over a decade of commercial real estate investment accounting experience to the firm. Most recently serving as Controller at Southern Storage Management Systems and Accountant at SROA Capital where she oversaw the accounting of private equity commercial real estate investments and self-storage facilities throughout the United States and Puerto Rico. Ms. Guyett’s professional experience includes investor and tenant relations, managing staff accountants, investment reporting, compliance, budgeting, acquisition, and disposition accounting services, as well as c-level executive personal accounting. 

Education

Ms. Guyett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Resort and Hospitality Management with a minor in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Myers, FL.

Ms. Guyett is proficient in multiple software systems including Yardi Voyager, QuickBooks Enterprise, Microsoft Office including advanced Excel use, Peoplesoft, Syteline, Sage, and Juniper.
