Background & Experience
Michael C. Wirth is a Senior Advisor on the NAI Greywolf team where he uses his more than decade of experience in commercial real estate, specifically in the multifamily industry. Michael has expertise in both market rate and affordable rentals (Section 8 & 42) – specifically new development and value-add/repositioning. He also has expertise in net leased investments including medical office, industrial, sale lease backs and single/multi-tenant retail.
During his initial years in the industry, Michael was exposed to each sector of the apartment industry. Starting in management/leasing, re-positioning, development and ultimately, brokerage and advisory services. His ancestors helped in the establishment of Wisconsin as a state in the 1840’s, by serving in politics, banking and real estate. Six generations later, Michael has carved out his niche as a specialist locally, regionally and nationally.
Michael has transacted over $3 billion over the past decade in mid-markets as well as nationally as a broker. An extensive amount of his work has been in multifamily development projects in Wisconsin. Most notably he has worked with companies such as Fiduciary Real Estate Development and the Mandel Group, Inc.
By leveraging his existing relationships, market knowledge, company resources, and commercial real estate experience, Michael is poised to advise clients and customers, institutional and private, on acquisition, disposition, development and investment in multifamily assets.
