Scope of Experience

Matt's primary focus is on the sale of land and properties for development or redevelopment in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has decades of experience working with all aspects of land development including acquisition, planning, due diligence, entitlements, market analysis, construction, sales & leasing.

Background & Experience

Matt is licensed in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Most of his career was spent working with developers on the acquisition and entitlement (obtaining governmental approvals) of land. He has worked extensively at evaluating real estate for development and redevelopment. When evaluating a property, he takes into account the perspective and demands of the end user.

Matt is a land use planner with a professional planners' license. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) which provides the only nationwide, independent verification of planners' qualifications.

Part of his experience as a citizen planner, Matt served as vice chairman on the Morris County Planning Board for 12 years in New Jersey. In addition, he has served on a congressional task force dealing with the NJ Highlands. He spent many years serving as the NJ Builders Association Chairman of the NJ Highlands Committee, plus four years on the Morris County Open Space Committee, serving as Chairman in his last year. Matt currently serves on the Forks Township Planning Commission.
