Background & Experience

Spencer J. Lund serves as Chief Investment Officer at NAI Legacy, where he leads the firm’s acquisition strategy, investment structuring, and capital markets efforts. His responsibilities include sourcing and executing acquisitions, structuring investment offerings, and raising both debt and equity to support the firm’s growing portfolio.

Since joining NAI Legacy, Spencer has successfully led the acquisition of more than $230 million in real estate assets nationwide. He has structured seven private placement offerings and completed over $200 million in total syndicated transactions. In addition to his investment leadership, he oversees a national portfolio exceeding 2.5 million square feet of commercial real estate.

Spencer brings eight years of experience in tax-efficient real estate structures, acquisitions, and alternative investments. Based in Chicago, IL, he directs NAI Legacy’s investment office and continues to expand the firm’s national footprint.

He began his career as an Investment Sales Broker at Marcus & Millichap in downtown Chicago, specializing in retail and mixed-use properties. Spencer holds dual degrees in Economics and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
