The membership of approximately 1,000 CREs share a commonality of integrity, competence, community, trust and service. The Counselors’ culture has evolved over 60 years to provide a rich environment for friendship that enables us all to achieve more in our professional lives and expand our contributions to the real estate industry. Diversity of professions has long been a hallmark of the organization, with investors, financiers, developers, corporate real estate professionals, appraisers, consultants, attorneys, brokers, and other industry professionals all part of the membership. Its members are located in large cities and small towns throughout the country and world. Members may be consultants or employees, sole practitioners, or members of large firms. Members possess special geographic and functional expertise, and when these are shared with other CREs, help facilitate better performance for those to whom CREs give advisory services. The package of benefits available to its members is augmented by a desire by many members to give back to society and the profession by joining together to achieve what a single individual cannot.
CCIM® Institute (CCIM)
CCIM stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member. For more than 50 years, CCIMs have been recognized as leading experts in commercial investment real estate.
