Background & Experience
Ruben is an expert in triple net leased investments and apartment sales. His key strength as an investment sales professional is his personal experience and relatability to his clients from an owner perspective. Ruben was a multiple unit operator franchisee for one of the most recognized and respected fast food chains in the country. In addition, Ruben owns an investment portfolio of apartment and retail properties which he buys and sells, so he understands best how to position a property for highest sale value. Above all, Ruben is a Northern California market expert with a deep understanding and knowledge of the market.
Ruben’s clients appreciate his insights on increasing value and yielding the greatest return on investment (ROI). With a hands on, “high touch” approach and a great reputation, Ruben has developed long-term rapport and satisfied repeat clients.
Ten years ago, Ruben began his commercial real estate career at Marcus & Millichap’s founding office in Palo Alto, California. After a successful 3-year run, Ruben was recruited by Colliers International in Stockton, California. Over his 6-year tenure at Colliers International, Ruben redefined his scope to focus on apartments and net investments.
Through the years, Ruben has closed over $180M in transactions including multifamily/apartment properties and nationally recognized tenants including Starbucks, Carl’s Jr. and McDonald’s.
Ruben is an active member of his church, Thrive, in Lathrop, California. He has participated in many mission trips throughout the country. He is currently involved in many different youth programs in which he continuously gives back to the community. Ruben has been married for 21 years and has a wonderful 5 year old son. He enjoys traveling to exotic countries across the world during his leisure time.
