Background & Experience
Paul Kahn joins NAI Shames Makovsky with over 17 years of commercial real estate experience. Paul’s primary focus is in industrial properties, representing buyers, sellers, tenants and landlords throughout the Denver metro area. Paul began his career in commercial real estate with Cushman & Wakefield of Colorado, Inc., after receiving his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Throughout the eight (8) years he was at C&W, he was recognized numerous times for his performance. The Denver Business Journal named him a “Heavy Hitter” in commercial real estate seven times since 2000. Paul joined The Staubach Company in 2004 where he was Senior Managing Director of Industrial Services. He specialized in leasing and sales of user-based assets while representing clients throughout the United States. Several of his clients included Columbia House, CPS Distributors, Iron Mountain, TuffShed, Kacey Fine Furniture, Looms Fargo, Office Depot and Wolseley NA dba Ferguson Enterprises. While there, Paul also managed the Industrial Team and received a NAIOP nomination for “Industrial Broker of the Year” in both 2004 and 2006. In 2007, Paul was recruited by Northstar Commercial Partners to be Vice President of Acquisitions and focus on the acquisition of value-add properties in Denver and throughout the United States.
