Background & Experience
Jeremy Merklinger joined NAI Mopper|Benton in 2012 and has been involved in the Savannah commercial real estate community since 2002, with a focus on leasing and sales of industrial and flex-industrial property. Additionally, he has been actively assisting financial entities with REO dispositions.

Prior to joining NAI Mopper|Benton, Jeremy was the Southeast Regional Manager for national developer, Dermody Properties (DP Partners).

While with DP, he oversaw the acquisition, development and leasing of regional industrial projects; including developing a 1,000,0000 square foot project in Savannah, GA and negotiated over $50,000,000.00 in sales and leasing activity.

Prior to DP, Jeremy served as project manager for the Savannah Economic Development Authority from 2002-2006. He provided site-selection/development assistance to more than 250 companies interested in the region and has built a wealth of experience, relationships, and market knowledge from the economic development perspective.

A native of Rochester, New York, Jeremy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University, and also served in the U.S. Army for three years as a Combat Engineer. Jeremy enjoys time spent with his wife, a Savannah native, and their two young boys.
