Scope of Service Experience
Gary specializes in the development, acquisition, financing, and disposition of commercial investment property, as well as providing sales, leasing, and consultation services to clients. Primary areas of emphasis are multifamily investment and office properties.
Background & Experience
Gary has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate and banking. He has extensive experience in asset management, partnership syndication and investment, financing, and asset disposition. Gary was a co-General Partner of a joint venture (Commercial Federal Bank and NP Dodge Company) that owned a portfolio of fourteen apartment, office and retail properties for over 20 years until disposition of the properties in 2008. Other areas of expertise include tax credit programs for affordable multifamily housing, institutional loan placement and brokerage, and property tax relief. With his clients, Gary’s primary goal is to provide solutions to their commercial real estate needs.
Gary received a Bachelor of Science degree in General Business and a Master of Business Administration degree from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Professional Associations & Designations
Gary is a licensed real estate agent in Nebraska and was a licensed securities broker for over 20 years. During his career in banking, Gary was the President of several subsidiary companies of Commercial Federal Bank specializing in commercial real estate, including Commercial Federal Service Corporation and Commercial Federal Realty Investors Corporation. He also served from 1994-2008 as an Investment Committee Member and Board member of the Midwest Housing Equity Group, a non-profit organization specializing in raising equity for affordable housing.
