Scope of Service Experience
Basil Mitchell is Market Director for NAI Robert Lynn Retail focused on the Eastern Dallas Metro Area (EDMA), which includes the Lakewood, N.E. Dallas, Garland, Town East-Mesquite, Rowlett-Rockwall, and East Dallas Outlying retail submarkets. Basil actively tracks every shopping center, tenant, available space, and completed transaction within the EDMA.

Basil's clients are able to gain unique insight into the markets that increases their negotiating leverage and adds value in areas, such as tenant mix, lease negotiations, and acquisition/disposition of retail property.

Additionally, Basil is able to add value by acquiring economic incentives for his clients through local and state Economic Development Corporations.

Basil's role as a trusted advisor allows his clients to navigate through the entire process of retail real estate transactions, from start to finish. His process oriented and analytical approach gives his clients up-to-date information, allowing for well informed decisions. This tactical process and extensive market knowledge gives his clients confidence as they seek his counsel throughout the constantly changing demographic environment of the retail property market.
Background & Experience
Prior to joining NAI Robert Lynn, Basil was Retail Marketing Manager for Hillwood Properties (AllianceTexas), marketing over 3 million square feet of retail property within the development. Later becoming an owner representative with Weitzman/Cencor Realty one of Texas' largest shopping center owners.

Before entering the retail real estate business, Basil was selected by the Green Bay Packers, where as a rookie he lead the team in kick return yards and special teams tackles. Basil was named special teams captain for the Packers in 2000.

While at TCU, Basil was a 3 year starter for the Horned Frogs football team, ending his career as the school's 4th all time leading rusher. He was a 2 year All-WAC performer, and awarded the TCU Pop Boone Male Student-athlete of the Year (1999)
