Scope of Experience

As Senior Vice President of Retail, Mr. Elrod is responsible for the leading the Company’s growth of the Retail Division in our core business: Landlord Leasing, Tenant Representation, Acquisitions, and Development/Re-development opportunities in Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville, Memphis, Chattanooga, and Atlanta.

Background & Experience

Since 1995, Mr. Elrod has achieved success in every level of retail real estate. He has leased over two million square feet of retail space with two large REITs and two boutique developers. In addition, Mark has leased orsold many restaurants and out parcels.

Mark is responsible for representing restaurants and other retailers, and the leasing of all NAI Chase Commercial’s retail space. Mark is also responsible for the development of grocery anchored centers, drug stores, unanchored strip centers, and assemblage and acquisitions of development & re-development opportunities.

In 2008, Mark became President of a subsidiary of NAI Chase Commercial called Restaurant & Hotel Specialists. RHS is a restaurant and hotel real estate and consulting company designed to provide a higher level of service to its clients.

Education

Mark graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Corporate Finance & Investment Management.
