Scope of Experience

Mr. Wilkinson specializes in the sale and leasing of properties in every aspect of commercial/industrial, improved and unimproved property, investment real estate; and consults with major financial and corporate institutions. Prior to his association with NAI Southern Real Estate, he headed the industrial brokerage division of a major Charlotte brokerage firm and has over 30 years experience in the brokerage of commercial/industrial real estate in Charlotte and other markets.

Background & Experience

Mr. Wilkinson began his real estate career in Louisiana before coming to Charlotte in the 1990’s. While in Louisiana, he managed and marketed office buildings for Latter & Blum, Inc. Realtors, Westminster Management Corporation of New Orleans and was a partner with Coldwell Banker J. Wesley Dowling & Associates, Inc. of Shreveport, Louisiana, the largest privately held real estate company in Northern Louisiana. Since coming to Charlotte, he has sold and leased commercial/industrial properties for Vinson-Colliers International, and Percivals Inc. before joining NAI Southern Real Estate in 1998. He is a member of the Charlotte Board of Realtors Multi-Million Dollar Club.

Education

Mr. Wilkinson graduated in 1976 from Lynchburg College, Lynchburg, VA, with a BA in Managerial Economics.

Professional Associations & Designations

Mr. Wilkinson is a Graduate of the Realtors Institute (GRI) and has been an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) for over 20 years, National Association of Realtors, North Carolina Association of Realtors, and Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors. Mr. Wilkinson holds real estate licenses in both North and South Carolina.
