Scope of Experience

Anna leverages her background in investing, engineering, and entrepreneurship to wholistically evaluate and execute projects that best meet the needs of her commercial real estate clients. Combined strengths of analytics and communication means she provides exceptional investor relations and tenant representation. Her meticulous research skills earned her an Emmy nomination while in college, and now serve to undergird thorough market research, lead due diligence, and perform site analysis.

An experienced business development professional, Anna has deep experience in technology commercialization, small business and startup operations, government relations, and early-stage investing, having held roles at Pennington Biomedical Research Center at Louisiana State University, the Angel Capital Association, the New Orleans Startup Fund and the NO/LA Angel Network.

Anna is the Managing Principal of HD Design | Harris Development and Design, a civil/structural engineering and professional services firm, through which she is a recent graduate of Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses Program, and of the Urban Land Institute's Real Estate Diversity Initiative.

Prior civic service includes being a court-appointed special advocate through CASA Jefferson, Vestry Senior Warden of St. Anna's Episcopal Church, and serving on the steering committee for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
