Scope of Service Experience
Thomas T. Lynn, SIOR is President of the Office Division for NAI Robert Lynn. In addition, Tom is NAI Business Director for the firm. As Director, he is in charge of the NAI relationship which includes monitoring all incoming and outgoing client assignments worldwide. He was recently awarded the prestigious NAI Global Chairman’s Award as the outstanding Primary Market Business Director within NAI. Tom’s proactive approach and involvement within NAI gained him additional recognition as he was awarded the Global Vision Award out of more than 8,000 professionals worldwide for his leadership in 2007. Tom also received the Deal of the Year Award at the NAI Global 2010 Convention for brokering one of the largest lease transactions in the United States in 2009.

Over his 27 year career in commercial real estate, Tom has personally negotiated well over 700 transactions on behalf of his clients ranging in size from 5,000 square feet to more than 1.2 million square feet. These transactions have occurred in DFW and in dozens of other markets nationwide. Tom’s clients include Fortune 500 companies like The Sherwin-Williams Company, Ingram Micro, and International Paper Company, as well as many local and regional firms. The scope of these office, industrial, land and retail transactions range from leasing, disposing, built to suit, sale/leaseback, design build, subleasing and acquiring.
Background & Experience
Tom began his career in 1986 at Robert Lynn Company. After success as a young broker, he purchased the company in 1993 from his late father Robert Lynn. He became President/CEO until he sold the firm to current owners in September of 2001. While under his leadership, Tom led the firm on an aggressive growth plan that resulted in a 600 percent increase in business volume. Tom spent almost 2 years at The Staubach Company from 2001-2003 as Executive Vice President where he oversaw the industrial division for the region. In 2003, Tom rejoined Robert Lynn Company and led the charge to join NAI.

Tom is well known in the Dallas-Fort Worth real estate world. He was awarded National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) Industrial Broker of the Year for 2007. CoStar has recognized him numerous years as a Power Broker, and the Dallas Business Journal regularly names him a Heavy Hitter. Tom has been a panel speaker for Commercial Property News and Dallas Business Journal and has been quoted in many real estate publications including The Wall Street Journal and New York Times.
