Scope of Service Experience
Robert Tito is a principal with NAI Hunneman’s Investment Services group and a commercial real estate expert with an extensive history of effectively liaising between buyers and sellers of investment properties. Throughout his career, he has brokered more than $5B in domestic real estate transactions, and is widely recognized for his exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building talents.
Since joining NAI Hunneman in 1990, Mr. Tito has effectively brokered profitable deals on many residential apartment buildings and complexes, retail shopping centers, and mixed office / industrial properties located across the United States. He has managed and grown relationships with such key / major clients as Equity Residential, AMICO, Nationwide Insurance Co., Hamilton Realty, Heath Management, WP Realty, Micozzi Management, Highstreet Management, Bay Management Corporation, Brady & Sullivan, Synergy Investments, The Davis Company, The Bullfinch Company, Fairfield Residential, and Chestnut Hill Realty. Mr. Tito has also hired and mentored multiple brokers who have subsequently thrived as top producers at NAI Hunneman and other industry-leading organizations.
Prior to joining NAI Hunneman, Mr. Tito co-founded and built The Dartmouth Company, Inc.. The thriving Boston-based commercial retail brokerage firm is now owned by brokers that he recruited, trained, mentored, and managed.
Over the course of his career, Mr Tito has served as a real estate broker, advisor, developer, and landlord. He personally owned and managed over 100 apartment units, all of which have been sold for a profit as condominiums or investment properties; and he is widely recognized as one of the foremost experts in investment property disposition strategies.
Mr. Tito has earned multiple performance-based awards during his tenure with NAI Hunneman including:
• “Broker of the Year” on two separate occasions (2000 and 2004).
• Membership in “NAI Global All-Stars,” representing the national network's top 20 producers (2007).
• Recognition as “Nationwide NAI Top Performer at the Elite Level” throughout the NAI Global Network of 5,000 professionals across 350 offices (2012).
•“Transaction of the Year” award for the sale of Fieldstone Market Place, a 200,000 SF shopping center anchored by Shaw's supermarkets (2004).
•“Deal of the Year Award” for brokering the $33M sale of the 350,000-sq.-ft. Bank of America Tower (a/k/a “The Superman Building”) in Providence RI, the year’s largest sale in the local market (2009).
•2014 Midyear Transaction recognition – for brokering the $20MM sale of 44 School Street, Boston, MA
•2016 Midyear Transaction recognition – for brokering the $16MM sale of 33-41 West Street, Boston, MA
