Scope of Service Experience
Moe deals with the human side of NAI Elliott. She focuses on the internal aspects of the business: corporate service, human capital, productivity, and training. Their expertise continues to be honed by studying the behavior of their organization, pursuing great accomplishments through small groups, and hiring and supporting employees who require training and mentoring. She creates strong relationships with employees and helps to bring out and recognize the best in those around her
Background & Experience
NAI Elliott has been a part of Moe's life since its first days in 1977. Before and during the growth of NAI Elliott, she held many positions that made her who she is today: Peace Corps volunteer (Brazil), life-long student of psychology and sociology; restaurant sous chef and owner; a psych intern in hospital psychiatric wards and as a middle school teachers' aide; a real estate broker; a bartender and jazz club owner who booked the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Earl Hines, Charles Mingus, Dave Brubeck, and the early days of Portland local Nancy King; a vocational rehab intern in programs for the learning disabled; grant writer, fund raiser, and builder of mud brick schools in remote regions of coastal Brazil; and a county, state, and federal government employee until it was far too apparent that she was excessively entrepreneurial for any type of steady government work, however service oriented.
