Scope of Service Experience
Mark Doherty is an Executive Vice President with NAI Hunneman's Capital Markets team where he focuses on the acquisition and disposition of retail product both locally and throughout the Northeast. Mark represents anchor retailers, junior anchor retailers, grocery stores, drugstores and cinemas.

Additionally, Mark's experience extends to land development, adaptive reuse projects, multifamily and hotel development. Mark has negotiated in excess of 400 lease and sale transactions totaling more than 12,000,000 square feet.
Background & Experience
Mark has over 20 years of transactional experience in commercial real estate,
and has developed extensive industry relationships as well as deep market knowledge. He works closely with clients, utilizing a hands-on approach to ensure success. Prior to joining NAI Hunneman, Mark was the Founder and Principal of Mercury Properties, a boutique real estate firm focused on retail real estate sales and leasing. He also started the Boston office of Staubach Real Estate and previously worked with Atlantic Retail Properties.

Transaction History
The re-leasing of the former Ann & Hope Department Stores. Fully repositioned a 1,000,000 square foot portfolio in Danvers, Watertown, Seekonk, and North Dartmouth, Massachusetts. Tenants included Super Stop & Shop, Home Depot, Kohl’s, Lowe’s T.J. Maxx, Pier 1 Imports, Linens N’ Things, and Bed Bath & Beyond.

Coordinated multi-market portfolio dispositions for Grossman’s Lumber resulting in the disposition of over 75 locations and more than 4,500,000 square feet of excess real estate.

Coordinated and directed the disposition of 25 non-strategic assets (650,000 square feet) for Moore’s Lumber throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest states.

Namco Pool & Patio Supply: Mark Sold/Leased and relocated over 25 Namco Pool and Patio Supply stores within the Northeast in order to reposition the chain and achieve greater market penetration

Starbucks Coffee Company: Exclusive Broker for New England. Mark developed a full market penetration strategy including site selection and initial plan implementation resulting in over 50 New England Starbucks Coffee locations.

Brinker International Disposition: Exclusive broker for New England in disposing of 6 former Brinker Restaurants

Office Depot Disposition: Exclusive broker deposed of 10 New England Office Depot locations.
