Scope of Service Experience
For over twenty five years, Mr. Russell has provided investment brokerage and advisory services to private clients, investment partnerships, global institutions, and REITs in both domestic and international markets. At NAI Capital, Russell primary business focus and objective is on creating and preserving clients’ wealth through commercial real estate investments. His specialty is acquiring, disposing, repositioning, developing and funding multi-family, retail, and mixed-use investment properties. His client advisory initiatives stress continuous return on equity investment, coupled with value enhancement, contributing both short and long-term value appreciation.

But merely brokering deals and advising clients only scratches the surface. Russell’s true niche is NAI Capital’s cornerstone: mastering an unsurpassed and intimate understanding of how economic, demographic and capital investment markets affect an asset’s operational and investment performance – before, during and after the acquisition and/or development.

Mr. Russell is a seasoned and experienced investment broker and advisor with experience in acquisitions, dispositions, and capital market engagements on more than $800 Million in commercial real estate, investment banking, and advisory transactions, providing investment and consultative advisory services across a number of key industries and global markets.
Background & Experience
Mr. Russell is a Senior Vice President specializing in investment sales of multi-family real estate assets.

Prior to joining NAI Capital, Mr. Russell spent several years as Managing Partner of Gibraltar Commercial Properties, responsible for practice and business development of the Multi-Family Housing Group. Mr. Russell started his commercial brokerage career with Marcus & Millichap in 2002, as a top-performing Commercial Real Estate Investment Broker specializing in Multi-Family, after receiving “Top Gun Honors”. Mr. Russell was later promoted to Sales Manager of the Marcus & Millichap Chicago Office where he hired, trained and managed one of Marcus & Millichap’s largest office of 65 brokers.

With more than 25 years of expertise and executive leadership, Russell’s national and international consulting and investment advisory experience spans a number of key industries and domains. And the companies benefiting from his executive leadership, read like a veritable “Who’s Who” among blue-chip conglomerates: IBM, Price Waterhouse, KPMG, Ericsson, Noble Capital Partners, and Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services.

Mr. Russell’s successful track-record of completed brokerage and advisory transactions has proven he possesses unsurpassed and intimate knowledge of how economic conditions, market conditions and capital markets affect an asset’s operational and investment yield performance on Core, Opportunistic and Value-Added commercial real estate assets.
