Jodi Shoemake brings 20 years of real estate experience, creativity and passion to servicing and understanding her clients’ objectives. Her appraisal background provides a unique perspective of the latest market intelligence, property valuation and the changing dynamics of our local real estate markets. Ms. Shoemake is currently a Vice President at NAI Capital, Inc. She is regarded as a leading real estate professional with considerable experience in a variety of product types including retail, restaurants, mixed-use, office, and land for redevelopment.
Background & Experience
Prior to joining NAI Capital in 2012, Jodi was part of CBRE’s Urban Retail team in their Downtown Los Angeles corporate office, specializing in Landlord and Tenant Representation during the rise and revitalization of retail in Downtown LA. Her exceptional leadership skills helped to develop a structured, team approach to managing agency listings while utilizing the corporate platform in order to provide their clients with an extensive scope of services. In 2015, Jodi and her colleague Dan Bacani were hired as economic development consultants by the City of Arcadia, California in order to advise staff and its elected officials on land use issues and commercial corridor redevelopment. Jodi began her real estate career as a licensed appraiser and transitioned to brokerage in 2006 where she was fortunate enough to work with CBRE's dynamic industrial team led by Darla Longo and Barbara Emmons.
