Background & Experience
Jim joined NAI Maestas & Ward in June of 2011 as a land, industrial and investment advisor with an extensive background in commercial real estate and high-volume manufacturing. He has been active in commercial real estate since 1999 as an investor, a small business owner and a broker. Jim has led both small businesses and large corporations and has managed budgets in excess of $100 million. Jim has a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Mexico’s Anderson School of Management. Prior to joining NAI Maestas & Ward, Jim was a broker at Grubb & Ellis for 5 years in industrial and investment brokerage.
Before commercial real estate, Jim had a career in engineering and engineering management in a high-volume manufacturing setting with Top 50 multinational corporations.
At NAI Maestas & Ward, Jim focuses on warehouse leasing and sales, corporate site search and selection and land development opportunities. The site selection work starts as technical specification needs analysis or selections by demographics and other criteria. Jim has represented large multi-tenant industrial parks, and a large selection of land development opportunities for any purpose. Jim assists clients in meeting their financial objectives by understanding their goals and working to maximize their return on investment as they direct their portfolios. One of his key strengths is his ability to analyze complex transactions to best meet his clients’ needs. Jim has also been successful in working with various not-for-profit organizations on organization or mission-oriented change. This may involve using their balance sheet to best understand how to maximize the ability to enable their mission.
Comprising the highly-effective Meyer/Wible team, Jim Wible, along with Keith Meyer, are known as the New Mexico economic development brokers, working closely with various economic development agencies statewide. As experts in site selection and qualification for economic development opportunities, Jim and Keith have been recognized for creating core job growth across New Mexico by bringing significant companies to the state including Flagship Food Group, NM Transloading and Innovate ABQ.
