As an expert in selling and leasing commercial and industrial property in South Louisiana, Jim Barse has been a consistent top producer since joining Latter & Blum 33 years ago. Jim specializes in industrial sites, vacant land, and investment properties and has extensive knowledge of available properties in surrounding areas.
 
Jim has completed numerous large transactions during his real estate career. Recent success stories include the lease of about 40,000 SqFt to Progressive Waste, over 33,000 SqFt at two locations to ERS Rental Solutions and a pending sale of over 400,000 SqFt on about 70 acres. Jim is currently marketing several large industrial properties in South Louisiana including a ±35,170 SqFt crane-served building in Harvey, a 48,040 SqFt crane-served waterfront facility in Belle Chasse, and a 177,755 SqFt multi-tenant office warehouse in Gretna.
 
Jim maintains a database of thousands of potential purchasers and tenants for industrial properties. He also keeps close ties to large property owners and users through his active participation in the Westbank Business and Industry Association. His contacts within the brokerage, banking and appraisal communities combine to set Jim apart as “The Expert”.
