Relocating to California from New York in 2005, Irwin Feigenbaum had a 30 Year distinguished career in retailing. After 12 years in the corporate arena in department stores, discount & specialty stores, where he rose to a Senior VP of Operations & Human Resources for a Fortune 500 specialty retailer. Irwin then founded his own executive search & consulting firm which specialized in retailing and apparel manufacturing. During the same 18 year period in the executive search field, Irwin also began to develop and manage his own low income multifamily housing projects. Four years ago Irwin began his career in real estate, and then moved to California.
Irwin Was Elected in March of 2008 to The Van Nuys Neighborhood Council, where he is actively involved in the revitalization of Van Nuys Blvd

Irwin Feigenbaum graduated from New York University with a degree in Management & Industrial Relations.
Worked in Corporate Retail with Alexander’s Department Stores, Zayre Discount Stores, and The Miller Wohl Company. dba, Jean Nicole Stores.
Founded Professional Resources in 1984, an executive search & consulting firm he ran for 18 years specializing in retail & apparel manufacturing. Working with many national chains such as Marshall’s, Zale Jewelers, Mother Hood Maternity, Rainbow Shops, Dress Barn, the Gap and Century 21 Department Stores, to name a few.
From 1988 to 2005 Irwin began to develop low incoming housing projects in Newburgh NY, with grants from the Federal Block Grant Program.
In 2002. he started his real estate career focusing on multifamily units and
mixed use buildings.
