Doug has represented both buyers and sellers of commercial properties ranging from neighborhood retail centers, to restaurants to medical office properties. His national and global reach has enabled him to work with clients across the country and outside the US borders - providing top shelf service and successful closings reaching client's needs and objectives.

Over the years we have successfully represented many Defense Contractors as their Tenant Representative.

Landlord representative:

Doug and his team average 30 to 35 transactions per year and maintain a listing inventory on average of 35-40 listings. Product types include office, industrial, land, retail and investment sales.
Background & Experience
Doug attended the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa from 1969 through 1972 - with a study of Business Management and Marketing. He later graduated from Athens State University in May 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Management of Technology.

In mid 1999, he began his career with Chase Commercial Real Estate Services. He brings close to thirty years of experience with property leasing, disposition and management of commercial real estate.

Licensed in 1977 he then became a broker in 1979 and entered the Commercial Real Estate arena in May 1987. Doug's clients include industrial, office and retail leasing, general brokerage / investment sales, land sales and property management. As a representative for the owners of large multi-tenant office parks, he's been fortunate to have considerably increased occupancy rates and negotiated multi-year office leases, to the benefit of the property owners. Additionally, a focus over the last several years on Investment Sales, Bargain Sales and Tenant Representation has enabled him to save clients time, money and inconvenience in their acquisition, disposition and selection process.

Having successfully completed CCIM 101, 102, 103 and 104, his goal is to achieve his CCIM designation and the SIOR designation shortly thereafter.

His work ethics and knowledge has been recognized in the Commercial Real Estate community and earned him a place as an experienced Investment Salesman, Tenant Representative, and competent sales and leasing agent, successfully negotiating on behalf of his clients - in leasing, sales, build to suit, acquisitions and dispositions.
