Mr. Allison joined NAI Southern Real Estate in 2005. NAI Southern Real Estate, founded in 1899, is the oldest full service commercial real estate firm in Charlotte, specializing in property management, acquisitions and dispositions, landlord and tenant representation, investment sales, land assemblages and development. As marketing director for NAI Southern Real Estate, Dave's expertise is relied upon for all aspects of marketing the company and the services provided; in securing listing assignments, marketing those assignments, enhancing owner, tenant and buyer representation and providing research and analysis throughout the Charlotte area. He has an active leadership and management role in determining the best ways to showcase the company, market the real estate represented, promote and prospect business for the firm and our clients as well as general brokerage support, sales and management. He also has 17+ years experience in GIS where he researches, develops and utilizes GIS (Geographic Information Systems), supplying clients with valuable analytical tools and visual representations on properties and sites.
Background & Experience
Mr. Allison is a native of Charlotte and has 19+ years experience combined in Real Estate, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), IT and the Supply Chain/ Logistics Business. Prior to joining Southern Real Estate he had extensive experience in the GIS and Cartography business involving areas in: GIS Analysis, Cartography, GIS Training, Consulting, Sales, Business Management, Business Development, Product Development and Operations. He was a previous ESRI business partner, attended ESRI Conferences, Seminars and Workshops. He also has experience in running and owning small businesses providing services in the Design and IT fields. Some of the services provided in that area were; marketing, advertising, graphic design, web development, photography, print media and digital services including social media development and support. He provided IT and technology support for small businesses and residential, specializing in systems implementation, networking, backup systems, security, software, hardware, general computer maintenance and support, implementation of cloud based technology including remote hosting services, remote IT support, cloud data storage as well as domain registration, administration and implementation. Along with his knowledge and expertise in those areas above, he has worked with residential real estate firms providing services in that market also. Prior to Real Estate and GIS, he had worked in the Supply Chain / Logistics business as an account manager on 25+ accounts with small to large industrial suppliers and manufacturers throughout the southeast region.
