Scope of Service Experience
Carey joined MLG in 2001, and oversees all facets of MLG's human resource and office administration functions, including recruiting, payroll, employee benefits, employment law compliance and employment policies and procedures, facility and office management, and administrative budgeting. Prior to assuming the role of Director of Human Resources and Office Administration, Carey served as MLG’s Director of Marketing for two years.
Background & Experience
Carey brought over 15 years of project and team management experience to MLG. Prior to joining MLG, Carey spent a year with Kedestra, Inc., a 14-person start-up technology services company specializing in web-based software applications for the commercial real estate industry. In her role as manager of administrative services at Kedestra, Inc., she was responsible for human resource administration, accounting, payroll, office management, legal document preparation, board meeting agendas and minutes, vendor relations, software documentation and training material development, client training, software alpha testing and product support. Carey also spent ten years with Roundy's, Inc., where she held various procurement, training, and team and project management positions in technical and merchandising departments.
Carey attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Carey served as the NAI Central Region Marketing Steering Committee Leader in 2002-2003 and was the recipient of MLG's 2002, 2003 and 2004 Employee Leadership Award.
