Scope of Service Experience
Barbara Lloyd is Senior Vice President of the Investment Services Group at NAI Horizon. She is an investment sales broker with a focus on asset disposition and acquisition. As a sales and leasing agent, she has closed more than $200 million in commercial real estate transactions and has sold and leased more than 1.5 million SF of properties.
Background & Experience
Since joining NAI Horizon in 2008, Barbara has specialized in the sale and purchase of investment properties, REO transactions, short sales and note acquisitions. She began her career in the commercial real estate industry in 1997 at Rand Commercial Brokerage. She then joined The Omni Group of Companies where she gained a vast knowledge of the commercial real estate industry in development, leasing, and management. After years with Omni, Barbara became heavily involved in office and medical condominium sales for Shea Commercial/Prudential CRES where she spent the next several years before joining NAI. Her expertise has facilitated sales for lenders and servicers including C-III, Hudson Advisors, Sunrise Bank of Arizona, Litton Loan Servicing/Ocwen, First Fidelity Bank, Compass Bank and Nevada State Bank.
Education
Barbara is a graduate of Arizona State University and holds a bachelor of arts degree in Spanish.
Professional Associations & Designations
Barbara is an active member of CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and has served several terms on the Board of Directors for the Central Arizona Chapter. She served as secretary of the Tempe Community Council and as liaison to the Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Human Services Committee. Barbara has been very active over the years in various professional and community associations including the Turnaround Management Association and Tempe Leadership Class XXIII. She is vice chairman of Tempe Neighbors Helping Neighbors, secretary of Tempe Community Action Agency, a board member of Landings Credit Union and an alternate member of the City of Tempe Development Review Commission. In 2007, Barbara was awarded the Prudential Chairman’s Circle award for being in the top 2 percent of sales nationwide. In 2010 she was presented with the Eagle Award for Leadership at NAI Horizon. In 2012, Barbara was an Elite Honoree in the NAI Global network and in 2013 Top Producer in the Phoenix office.
