Scope of Experience

Ana Soulriver is a successful commercial real estate broker specializing in investment sales currently serving as a Senior Associate with NAI Capital in the Pasadena office.

A longtime resident of the City of Pasadena, Ana has an intimate knowledge of the local area real estate market. She utilizes her technical and analytical skills combined with that accurate market knowledge to create meaningful value for her clients that goes well beyond the deal points in order to achieve her client's investment goals. Working with both buyers and sellers, Ana uses her strong network of contacts throughout the industry to adeptly and effectively communicate the value of an investment for her clients.

Background & Experience

Ana has a diverse range of experiences that honed her skills in market analysis, financial modeling and deal negotiation. Before coming to NAI Capital Ana managed operations for a team at Berkshire Hathaway, a top one percent real estate group, where she worked with a variety of clients overseeing budgets, developing marketing strategies, and maintaining exceptional client relations. 

As former small business owner/operator, Ana understands the importance of real estate to a business owner and takes a very client centered and focused approach to ensure her client’s needs are met. Ana’s success is due in part to her unwavering commitment to her clients. She takes time and works tirelessly to assist them in achieving the best possible outcomes.

Ana’s expertise doesn't stop at commercial real estate. She's also deeply committed to her community. Ana volunteers as a docent for Pasadena Heritage where she shares her deep appreciation for architecture and development. She holds an affinity for New Urbanism – an approach where human principals are shaped with design to support the values and needs of a community. 

Ana credits growing up in Colombia as having a strongly positive influence on her. She is fluent in Spanish, values expression, and exposure to her native culture. Intrigued with people, cultures, and other nationalities, Ana displays a wisdom beyond her years. 

Education

Ana studied and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with and emphasis in Entrepreneurship at the University of Texas, San Antonio. After moving to Pasadena, Ana successfully completed the Allied School of Real Estate obtaining her real estate salesperson license and later her California Real Estate Broker’s license. Ana has also recently completed the USC Ross Program in Real Estate Development covering deal structuring, joint ventures, identifying and analyzing risks and rewards, financing and financial modeling.

Professional Associations & Designations

Ana combines her affection of architecture and passion for real estate to serve in a number of volunteer positions throughout Los Angeles. For the past several years Ana has volunteered as a docent at the historic Hollyhock House, located in Barnsdall Art Park, Los Angeles where she enjoys educating the public on the significance of Frank Lloyd Wright's architecture and the benefits of public art and development. 

Ana also currently serves as a member of the Board of Pasadena Heritage whose mission is to identify, preserve and protect the historic, architectural and cultural resources of the City of Pasadena. Recently, Ana became a docent at the University of Southern California Pacific Asia Museum assisting visitors in their encounters with the art, history and culture of Pacific Asia designed to promote intercultural understanding.
