Background & Experience
Jason D. Ritchie was born and raised in Visalia, California. After obtaining an Associate Arts Degree at College of the Sequoias in Visalia, he departed to the southland to attend California State University, Long Beach where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance
After college, Jason stayed in southern California and began working in the field of finance. His experience ranged from futures commodity broker to mortgage banking to loan assistance work.
This background led him to the world of real estate where he could use his understanding of the “backend” of loans to help his clients. He firmly believes, “The loan agent and real estate agent must be on the same page in the transaction to make the closing happen in an efficient and timely manner.”
Jason’s strong financial background enables him to assist our clients with investment strategies and risk management.
Wherever he worked, Jason always had a knack for marketing and coming up with ideas to boost sales.
When Jason decided to enter the field of real estate, he chose to come home to Visalia. “My wife and I have four children and we believe the small town environment is more suited to our values,” he said.
While Jason began his real estate career in residential sales, he quickly found he was especially good when working with commercial properties, including large-scale properties. At NAI The Whitlatch Group, Jason’s focus is commercial sales and leasing.
Other accomplishments include fluency in Spanish and being a licensed pilot. When not at work, Jason enjoys spending time with his family.
